Synopsis of The Last Lap:
JEAN has a dream, which is to go to a sports school and become a professional athlete. However, life is not as smooth-sailing as she is thrust into a class of non-athletes and has to struggle against the flow of a rigid and academic-driven society. In her attempt to pursue the unconventional, JEAN has one last lap to break through- her inner state of mind.

Khmers in Singapore 2009

Calling for 2009 KS EXCOs
I believe we enjoy each other’s company quite a alot. So i think we should further develop our friendships by setting up a proper committee which objective is to organize various activities such as birthday party, dinner, movie, cycling, BBQ, cooking, chalet, overseas trip, community service, sport event, etc, and maybe get a group t-shirt as well. Most importantly; getting everyone together to have fun!
As you know, it’s pretty difficult for one to organize any activity for such a big group just by him or her-self. So why not, a few of us work together to come up with more interesting activities and give everyone more memorable experiences. There is no pressure on being the organizing committee members, they just have to come up with fun activities and at the same time enjoy themselves.
KS (Khmers in Singapore) includes:
1. Chea & Lili, Smey, Meng, Chamnab. 2. Mov, Vattey & Sim, Leakhenan, Phea. 3. Visoth, Pheaktra, Pheara. 4. Zaneth, Yoo, Bosith. 5. Phearum, Keath, Keang. 6. Deth, Hout, Leang. 7.Yanvey, Sonal, Vivath. 8. Peng An. 9. Kalyan, Sopheak, Bo, San. and probably those who are in NTU also. The list will grow, but currently, we only take in our friends.
As an extension to the idea, we can even do something more useful together, such as doing a start up company.
For those who haven’t voiced thier opinions in Facebook, can write it down here.

(click on the image to see a bigger poster)
As mentioned by Pheaktra, our outing plan is always not successful mainly because of infomation uncertainty.
So here we come up with the idea of tagging our friends on facebook, with great detail of the outing. If it’s more efficient, next time we will do it again.
As a start, we have this BBQ outing on 21sth feb. Do join in for the fun and laughter!
